Terms & Conditions – Kernow Kids Sports

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Kernow Kids Sports for children’s coaching sessions, group classes, holiday camps, events and related activities.
By making a booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Us
Kernow Kids Sports is a children’s sports coaching business based in Cornwall, United Kingdom.

2. Bookings
- All bookings must be made by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over.
- Bookings are subject to availability.
- A place is only confirmed once payment has been received (unless otherwise agreed).
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings where necessary.
3. Payments
- Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£).
- Payment must be made by the stated deadline using approved payment methods.
- Unpaid bookings may be cancelled.
- Any promotional offers or discounts may be withdrawn at any time unless already applied to a confirmed booking.
4. Cancellations by Parents / Guardians
Classes and Courses
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a course starts may be eligible for a refund at our discretion, less any non-refundable fees.
- Once a course has started, missed sessions are normally non-refundable.
Holiday Camps / Events
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before may receive a refund or credit, subject to administration costs.
- Cancellations within 48 hours prior or non-attendance are normally non-refundable.
If your child cannot attend due to illness or emergency, please contact us as soon as possible.
5. Cancellations by Kernow Kids Sports
We may cancel, postpone or amend sessions due to:
- Severe weather
- Venue issues
- Staff illness
- Low booking numbers
- Safety concerns
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Where possible, we will offer:
- A replacement session
- Credit note
- Refund (where appropriate)
6. Drop Off and Collection
- Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring children arrive and are collected on time.
- Children will only be released to authorised adults unless otherwise agreed.
- Late collection may result in additional charges where reasonable and necessary.
7. Health, Medical and Behaviour Information
Parents/guardians must inform us before attendance of:
- Medical conditions
- Allergies
- Injuries
- Additional support needs
- Anything that may affect safe participation
Failure to provide relevant information may prevent attendance.
8. Illness and Injury
Children should not attend if unwell, contagious, or medically unfit to participate.
In the event of illness or injury during a session:
- Basic first aid may be given
- Parents/guardians will be contacted
- Emergency medical treatment may be sought where necessary
9. Behaviour Standards
We aim to provide a safe, positive and inclusive environment.
We may exclude any participant whose behaviour is unsafe, abusive, disruptive, bullying or repeatedly inappropriate.
10. Activities and Risk
Sport involves physical activity and an element of risk.
While we take reasonable steps to provide safe, supervised sessions, participation is at the parent/guardian’s risk except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child is physically able to take part.
11. Clothing and Personal Belongings
Children should attend with suitable clothing, footwear, and any required items.
We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings.
12. Photography and Media
We may take photographs or videos for promotional or training purposes only where appropriate consent has been provided.
If you do not wish your child to appear in media content, please inform us in writing.
13. Safeguarding
We are committed to safeguarding children and promoting welfare.
Where necessary, concerns may be reported or information shared in line with safeguarding responsibilities and applicable law.
14. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15. Liability
Participation in sport involves some risk of injury.
While reasonable care is taken, Kernow Kids Sports shall not be liable for injury, loss, or damage expect where caused by our negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.
16. Changes to Bookings or Terms
We may reasonably update schedules, venues, coaches, activities or these Terms & Conditions where necessary.
The latest version will be available on request or on our website.
17. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
